Ah…my trusty commuter steed. A beautiful Linus Dutchy 3 stepthrough in red.
When I moved to Vancouver and discovered that I could live within a mile and a half from work, the thought of biking to work was exciting! Back in my triathlon days I LOVED being on a bike and once I stopped doing tri’s I stopped biking as much as I used to. When I realized I could commute via bike to work, I was excited and quickly purchased a Linus Dutchi 3 for my commute…I love my bike! But being a bike commuter posed a whole new problem…I didn’t live far enough away from the office that I was going to get sweaty enough to warrant changing my clothes when I got into the office, but trying to find a balance between having clothes I could physically BIKE in and having them look nice enough for the office can sometimes be a challenge. I’ve found a few tricks here and there, but I am interested in finding a way to address this challenge for any woman who works in an office but doesn’t want to change out of their commuter clothing. I’ve learned a few things and I now hope to share them all with you. Hopefully you can help give me some input too.
This website is set up to discuss the ins and out of bike commuting as well as will host an affilate store (where if you buy a product, I earn a commission) of products I like and recommend.
And if you like my writing or want to know more about how to build healthy habits, need some nutritional coaching, you can also find me over here at Wellness Habits.
Enjoy the ride!
